Dr Alessandro Bellato graduated in Animal Science in 2012 and Veterinary Medicine in 2018 from the University of Torino (Italy). In the same year, he started his first scholarship at the Department of Veterinary Science in the Infectious Diseases sector, working on vector-borne diseases. Afterwards, from April 2019 to September 2020, he worked in the bacteriology research group as a scholarship holder, focusing on antimicrobial resistance in horses. During that period, he got a Master’s in Epidemiology at the Department of Medical Science of the University of Torino. Since 2020, he has been a PhD student, enrolled in the Doctoral School of the University of Torino. On the 1st of January 2023, he will start his ECVM residency with Prof. Robino (DVM, PhD, Dipl ECVM) as the Supervisor and Residency Programme Director.
