Andrea Grassi

Andrea graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2006 at the University of Bologna, he subsequently obtained a Specialization in Swine Pathology at the University of Milan. In 2018 he completed an Executive Master in Clinical Pathology and a postgraduate course in “Antibiotic-Resistance One-Health Approach between Human and Veterinary Medicine” at the University of Verona. In 2019 he obtained the eligibility from the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists. From 2009 to 2014 he worked at the Diagnostic Department of IZSLER in Brescia, dealing with clinical microbiology and diagnostics of animal infections, antimicrobial resistance in farm and companion animals. From 2014 is the head of the Microbiology Unit of I-Vet Laboratories. In April 2021 he started his ECVM Alternate Residency Program with Prof Nicola Decaro as main Supervisor and Dr. Davide Giovanardi as local Supervisor.
