Dec 2000 – present. Responsible of the Diagnostic (necropsy, bacteriology and mycology) microbiology Unit of Tre Valli Laboratory and ISO 17025 Quality Assurance Manager. This centre is the exclusive private veterinarian diagnostic laboratory of the Veronesi Holding, the biggest integrated meat company in Italy. The holding is composed of five different companies namely: AIA (poultry company); Negroni and Fini (swine companies); and Mangimi Veronesi (feed company).

The Laboratory consists of four Units:

  • Clinical Microbiology (necropsy, bacteriology and mycology) – Parasitology
  • Food Safey Microbiology – Responsible from 2004 – 2007
  • Diagnostic Serology
  • Molecular Biology

Clinical and Food Safety Microbiology Units are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited since 2009 regarding several both ISO and ISO equivalent microbiological methods (i.e. ISO 6579-1:2017 for Salmonella).
I work full-time in veterinary microbiology as poultry (chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, ducks, game birds), swine, cattle, rabbit, fish disease diagnostician, serving poultry, swine, rabbit and cattle veterinarians and technicians of the Veronesi Holding. As ISO 17025 Laboratory manager I am in charge of the quality assurance and the contact with the accreditation body.
