Prof Sante Roperto

Sante Roperto, born in Caserta on 14 November 1977, was graduated in 2001 in Veterinary Medicine with 110/110 cum laude. He attended the Infectious Diseases Institute of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bari in 2002. Moreover he attended the Regina Elena Cancer Institute, Laboratory of Virology in Rome. From 2013 he is associated professor of the Department of Medicine Veterinary and Animal Productions (DMVPA), division of Infectious Diseases. He is author of 90 papers published on scientific journal with high impact factor. He was referee of Oncogene, BMC Veterinary Research, British Journal of Cancer, Journal of General Virology and PLoS ONE. He is professor of General Microbiology at the DMVPA of the Naples University from 2004. He is professor of Batteriology and Hygiene at the Specializzation School in Infectious Diseaes at the DMVPA of the Naples University from 2004.

He was professor of Veterinary Microbiology and Immunology in the Veterinary Medicine School of Catanzaro University “Magna Graecia” from 2004 to 2011. He was professor of Infectious Disease I in the Veterinary Medicine School of Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro from 2006 to 2011. He was professor of Viral Epidemiology and Phisiopathology of Genital System of Farm Animals at the Veterinary Medicine School Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro. He is member of the Editorial Board of ‘Pathogens’.
